1. 2 Phase exam

GATE 2014 might be conducted in two phases. These two phases could be named as GATE and GATE Advance. Those who have passed in the first phase will only be allowed to appear in the second phase.

The first phase paper will have mainly maths and aptitude with some light weight questions of technical subjects. This paper will be of 2 hours. It might be conducted in the month of  September/October. The second phase paper will be based on technical subjects and it could be of 3 hours. It might be conducted in January or February

2. Online Exam
